Penny

Panagiota Pantazi

Penny qualified as a dentist from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Greece. She moved to Eastbourne in 2010 and has been working as a General Dental Practitioner since. Penny is able to provide Invisalign treatment as well as all aspects of General Dentistry. Outside of dentistry she enjoys cooking, baking, reading and going to the cinema.

Raj is a very experienced dentist working in East Sussex since 2005. She completed her MFDS from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2003. Raj is a General Dental Practitioner with a special interest in Invisalign and Cosmetic work. Raj is a very hardworking dentist and passionate about her work.

Paul is originally from Northern Ireland. He graduated from The Royal London Dental Hospital in 2002.

Paul has spent most of his career working with special needs adults and children for the Special Care Dental Service. He has worked for various NHS Trusts across the South East including The Royal Alex Children’s Hospital in Brighton, Eastbourne District General Hospital, and Woking Community Hospital. Paul has also worked in prisons and had a stint in the Australian outback.

In his spare time he works for Dentaid providing care for the homeless and he likes tinkering with cars and motorbikes and looking after his pet rabbits with his daughter.

With over 30 years experience as a general dentist, David provides a full range of restorative, aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry. He is committed to keeping up to date with the latest techniques, procedures and materials in dentistry.

David has a calm and reassuring manner and has an established reputation for treating anxious and phobic patients. He is also qualified to provide conscious sedation for those who may require it.

In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family and enjoys cooking, travelling and playing golf.

Peter Apostolopoulos

Peter graduated from the University of Athens, Greece, in 1989 with a degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine. He practised dentistry in Athens before moving to the UK in the summer of 2000. Since then, he has owned several practices in West Sussex. He has a special interest in Smile Design, Implant restorations, Prosthetics, Composite Bonding, Short term Ortho, Including Invisalign and Inman Aligners, and Endodontics. Peter remains at the forefront of all innovation and embraces all new and advanced Technology in Dentistry to provide his patients with the best aesthetic and functional results. His moto is "Your smile is twice as important to me as it is to you." Keep Smiling!

Tania Magpies

Tania Costello-Nightingale

Tania has been a registered Dental Hygiene Therapist since 2014, qualifying at The Royal London. During her time at university, she was awarded a prize for the best clinical work in her year group and the highest grade in her Dental Hygiene examination. Tania is incredibly passionate about educating her patients of the importance of Oral Hygiene and ensuring all patients feel 100% informed and comfortable during their visit. Helping patients to overcome dental fears and phobias is of the utmost importance to her. She prides herself on providing gentle treatment along with a friendly approach. When not at work Tania loves to spend as much time as possible with her two beautiful horses.

Abi is a qualified Dental Nurse, having completed her Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing (City & Guilds) in 2024. She is a friendly and supportive person who enjoys helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable during their visits. She is currently undertaking the IACSD course and, outside of work, enjoys going to the gym as well as art and photography.

Caroline achieved her National Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2012 and has been part of the Magpies team for many years. She enjoys meeting patients and takes pride in working alongside the dental team.

She aims to help create a friendly and supportive environment and to reassure patients throughout their visits. Shie is approachable to many of the patients she supports.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, doing crafts, going to the theatre and listening to music.

Emma achieved her National Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2003 and joined Magpies in 2020. She has worked in dental nursing for many years and has continued to develop her skills and training throughout her career. She has experience supporting orthodontic treatments and is currently undertaking further training related to dental sedation.

She enjoys her role and working closely with patients and the dental team. Outside of work, she enjoys going on extreme day trips and is a proud member of the Heathfield Bonfire Society.

Grace is a qualified Dental Nurse, having completed the National Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2025. She aims to help create a calm and supportive environment for patients, particularly those who may feel anxious about their dental visits. She finds it rewarding to support patients throughout their appointments and to play a role in their ongoing oral healthcare.

Outside of work, she enjoys going to the gym, painting, and exploring new places.

Chloe is a Trainee Dental Nurse at Magpies Dental Practice. Her main aim is to support patients during their visits and help create a calm, reassuring environment. She is also interested in developing her skills further in the future, including training related to dental sedation.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the gym, and visiting zoos.
