All-On-4 Implants

Lose teeth in their upper or lower jaw because of tooth decay

When people lose teeth in their upper or lower jaw because of tooth decay, gum disease or tooth damage, dental implants can be used as replacement tooth roots onto which artificial teeth are attached. At Magpies Dental Practice, we provide effective treatment to improve smile functionality and aesthetics. These include All-on-4 dental implants, also known as Teeth in a Day and Same Day Smiles, which provides effective and quick results. We also provide effective denture stabilisation treatment through the use of the Syncone system.

1What does All-on-4 treatment involve?
With the All-on-4 system four titanium dental implants are used as a foundation for a full arch of teeth. Only four dental implants are needed due to the unique positioning of the dental implants; the implants at the front of the mouth are placed at the normal angle of ninety degrees, while the implants at the back of the mouth are fit at a forty-five degree angle. This creates an effective stabilising effect. New teeth such as dentures or bridges can then be attached to the dental implants, with treatment often complete in a single day.
2Dental implants and denture stabilisation
For a high level of denture stabilisation we offer the Syncone system. This uses two to six abutment posts that are inserted into empty tooth root pockets and provide a great level of denture stability. These posts rise 5mm out of the gum pockets and will attach dentures firmly in place. This ensures proper stability to prevent denture slippage, speech problems and discomfort. The Syncone system can be used to help patients with loose dentures, failing crown or bridgework and patients with gum disease or bone loss.
3What does Syncone treatment involve?
An initial consultation will give us a chance to discuss treatment options and relevant costs. A CT scan will then take place to scan your jaws to ensure a thorough treatment plan. Your new dentures will be made and, after this, teeth can be removed if needed and the implants put in place. We then stabilise the dentures with the implants on the same day, which provides functional, cost-effective and aesthetic improving results.
